Gordon Sibbald Bursary Fund

It is time once again to nominate one of your students for the Gordon Sibbald Bursary Fund, which was launched following the sad loss of our very dear friend and colleague, Gordon Sibbald.

The aim of the Gordon Sibbald Bursary Fund is to provide some support to students who are facing financial challenges in relation to, or which impacts, on their Hospitality & Catering studies.

We are therefore asking you our colleagues to nominate a deserving student from your College who would benefit from the fund.

There are 30 nominations of £100 each available in the fund. There can only be
one student nominee from each College, so please consider your selection carefully, giving reasons for your nomination.

All nominations will be judged by the PACE Executive on the information received by you our colleague, and the decision will be announced to the Colleges in question just prior to the Christmas break. Each £100 bursary award will be paid by cheque directly to the student concerned.

Please send your application in letter format, with full details of the student you are electing, and the reasons why you have nominated them. Please include tutor contact details, together with the postal address where the award is to be posted.

Applications are to be emailed to
pace@mcculloughmoore.co.uk

The deadline for all nominations is
Friday 18th December 2015 for consideration by the PACE Executive committee.

The recipients of the 30 awards will be announced on Tuesday 22nd December 2015.
