Study Paints a Mixed Picture for Restaurant Daily Deals
While many restaurant operators gained new customers and made money on their daily deal offers, others lost money and found their regular customers taking advantage of the flash promotions, according to a new study published by Cornell's Center for Hospitality Research. Roundtable Investigates Key Sustainability Issues
Many hospitality firms are making every effort to report the status of their sustainability initiatives, but a challenge arises in exactly what to report and how to report it. The Importance of Face-to-Face Meetings

Mary Beth McEuen, vice president and executive director of the Maritz Institute, explains her research on the continuing importance of face-to-face meetings as an important companion to digital communications. She presented her research findings during the recent Cornell Hospitality Research Summit 2012, and also explained why face-to-face remains important in the digital age in a Cornell Hospitality Industry Perspectives paper, "The Future of Meetings: The Case for Face-to-Face," written with Christine Duffy. Accenture Becomes Senior Partner of Cornell Center for Hospitality Research
Accenture, the global management consulting firm, has become the newest senior partner of the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) at the School of Hotel Administration.
